Just a heads up that our Belfast shop will close on Saturday 10th July at 5pm and will reopen on Tuesday 20th July at 10am. Our Summer Sale continues online with 15% off throughout the entire shop so no need to panic! The office will be open as normal from Wednesday 14th, so if you need some help or have any questions, we'll be there.
If you're having a bit of time off too, here are some things we've done recently that you might also enjoy...
Swimming under the rope bridge
We took a high speed RHIB along the coast from Ballycastle to Carrick-a-Rede rope Bridge. Our skipper Tim was a (hilarious) font of knowledge and shared tales of smugglers and fascinating facts on the geology of the coastline. We peeked into caves along the way and eventually had the opportunity to jump from the boat and swim in the sparkling water underneath the rope bridge. This was definitely a pinch me experience.
A Sauna on the Beach
A visit to the Blue Flag Benone strand, with its seven-mile beach and views to Mussendun Temple is a treat at any time of the year. But now that you can experience an authentic Finnish sauna complete with views of the Atlantic, you 100% have to put in on your list. We alternated between the sauna and the ocean for a really invigorating experience and completed our day happy and contented with a good old picnic on the beach.
A trip to Donegal
Catherine and I love Donegal. Its somewhere we’ve always gone to as a family, Inishowen in particular. Not being able to visit during the various lockdowns was tough and we’re overjoyed that it we can now travel there again. There’s nothing like a dip in the sea, a pint in the local and a few Donegal oysters. This weekend, Catherine will be heading out with a gang of her friends on a boat trip from Culdaff to Inishtrahull and I’ll be going Stand Up Paddle Boarding with our sister Annie. We can’t blimmin’ wait.
Whatever you all get up to, have a good rest and loads of fun and we’ll see you on the other side.
