Opening Our Doors

So… when we closed our doors, just over 12 weeks ago, we were shell-shocked and scared and we had no idea what the future held for Maven. We panicked, we cried, and we drank in every news report we could (as well as lots of wine, let’s be honest), to try and make sense of, and understand what was happening in the world.  We thought that might have been it for Maven.
 
But you all stuck by us. And we can’t tell you how grateful we are to all of you who have supported us through our teeny online shop and beyond.  As we’ve been hand delivering many of our local deliveries, we’ve enjoyed having doorstep chats with you and hearing how you’ve been doing over the last few months. And it has made us truly realise how amazing this community around us is.  
 
And now, the time has come when we can open the doors to Maven again.  We are excited but we are also nervous. Will people even want to come and shop? How will Maven work in a socially distanced world? We’ve decided therefore to take it day by day and week by week.  We’ll see how it goes and react as best we can.
 
So… deep breaths… we’re going to open again next Tuesday to Saturday from 10am- 3pm.  This is just for now, not for forever. Timings may change as we go forward so be sure to follow us on Instagram as we’ll be keeping that up to date regularly.
 
All furniture enquiries will now be by appointment. Please contact us to book your appointment.  Slots will be available Tuesday - Saturday at 3.30pm.
 
We will be offering a click & collect service from our online shop from next Monday. Simply choose that option at checkout and your items will be available for collection from Maven the next day (as long as it’s a day we’re open!).
 
We can allow 3 people in the shop at one time and we’ll be grateful if you can follow the 2m social distancing etiquette that has now become a way of life for us.
 
We will have hand sanitiser at the entrance to the shop and at various points around the shop, and we would like you to take the time to use this as you enter and circulate.
 
Our summer sale will launch then too. There will be 10% off in stock accessories and 15% off all furniture, lighting and rug orders, with reductions of up to 50% on some ex-display and end of line items.
 
CC’s will be open from their super cute hatch, which is at the back of Maven, on Hugh Street. As well as their incredible coffee, they have ice teas, iced chocolates, sweet treats and tonnes of plants.
