Ideal for using at a breakfast bar this modern bar stool offers functionality and elegance. The ash seat is moulded for comfort and the tapered legs remind us that this piece is characteristically Ercol. Choose from a selection of wood lacquers as well as an assortment of bold paint finishes, this bar stool is ideal in any home. This bar stool is 75cm tall. An alternative 65cm version is also available.
A feature of this bar stool is the classic Windsor wedge joint, where the leg of the chair goes right through the seat; a wedge is then inserted into a cut in the leg, forming a remarkably strong joint. Sanded off flush with the seat, the joint then provides a beautiful design element.
This stool was originally made in very small numbers in the Ercol jig shop for use by our designers in the days when designers used pencil and paper and sat at drawing boards.
