L.Ercolani - Chairmakers Chair

Since the beginning of time, designers and craftsmen have experienced a profound, oftentimes intuitive connection to wood as a building material. Lucian Ercolani echoed this affinity in 1956 with the construction of the Chairmakers Chair, a stirring ode to the historic profession of chairmaking, suffused with thoughtful, crafted details and raw materiality.

A paradigmatic example of classic Windsor craftsmanship, the Chairmakers Chair features a traditional spindle backrest with eight, finely-tuned spindles, curved to accommodate the body’s natural contours and provide a supportive, comfortable seat.

Manufactured in solid ash, the Chairmakers Chair is offered in nine bespoke finishes, including a natural finish and the new modern tones series by Christian Møller Andersen.
